Two Interactive jobs in Vancouver.

I always love it when I can post a good job opportunity. And today I can post two.

The good people at Fjord Vancouver, the interactive wing of Cossette , Canada’s largest ad agency, is hiring two positions.

  • Director of Strategy – Digital Marketing
  • Digital Marketing Strategist – Social Media Marketing

The first job could be a good reason to move to Vancouver. The second is a mat leave replacement contract for one year.

Good luck!

Come to TransportCamp on October 30th.

My friend Jeremy Osborn invited me to an interesting event called TransportCamp: A Sustainable Transportation Unconference.

Here’s how it is described on the website:

TransportCamp is an unconference, created for exploring the following theme:

How can transportation be a catalyst for building more vibrant communities in the Lower Mainland?

I love this BarCamp model applied to areas in need of collaborative thinking. I’m signing up.

Here are the details:
Where: BCIT Campus Downtown, 2nd Floor 555 Seymour Street Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada V6B 3H6
When: October 30th, 8:30AM – 4:00PM
Why: To network, generate ideas, and organize around sustainable transportation!
Cost: $25.00

Here’s where you register. See you there.

Go up on the roof with Carol.

I have written before about the immensely inspiring Carol Schillios. Right now, she is living on a roof for as long as it takes to raise $1 million to support women and their families in developing countries.

What does she want? Simply put, she wants you to give at least one dollar to the Fabric of Life Foundation, and accompany your donation with some small act of kindness.

So for the love of Pete, let’s get Carol off the roof!
