Then, this morning, I <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150417125140\/http:\/\/www.netbanker.com\/2008\/02\/iou_central_launches_first_person_to_person_lender_in_canada.html\" title=\"IOU Central Launches First P2P Lending Exchange in Canada\">read on NetBanker<\/a> that IOU Central has launched, making them first out of the gate for Canadians.<\/p>\n<p>I had heard that there was a group in Quebec working on this, but I had assumed my friend <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200423021324\/https:\/\/thebankwatch.com\/\" title=\"The Bankwatch\">Colin Henderson<\/a> would be first out to market with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.financeit.io\" title=\"CommunityLend\">CommunityLend<\/a>, which is launching early this year.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll give IOU Central a try and report what I find.
